The Lakes Region EMS building had several issues. Fore years no one could figure out where all of the moisture was coming from.
Problem:
The two fresh air ducts dump directly into the ceiling plenum. During certain times of the year the fresh air causes the air to stratify causing condensation on the ceiling.
Solution:
The fresh air roof vents were replaced with a gooseneck. The fresh air and return air received a motorized damper to control the fresh air coming into the building and the return air damper controls were ran to the return air duct.
Problem:
Condensation issue in the Apparatus Bay.
Solution:
Replaced the CO2 detector that was broken. Installed separate humistat, thermostat from the CO2 detector. Also, turned on the ventilation system when washing the EMS vehicles.
Problem:
Concrete apron deterioration at garage.
Solution:
Replace exterior apron and building
