Situation:
Through the design phase the building increased in size, which put us over budget.

Remedy:
Innovative design alternatives were included, i.e. exposed aggregate floor, burnished block in high traffic areas.

Situation:
The site was an old dump with overgrown shrub trees and high vegetation. There also is a stream running through the site preventing access. The Owner wanted a Christmas Holiday Grand Opening.

Remedy:
In order for the owner to move-in at Christmas time, the sight and access needed to be ready by spring construction. In the late fall, culverts were installed in the stream for road access and the brush and debris was removed. By doing that, construction could start in the early spring saving two months in the schedule.

Situation:
The earthwork contractor was $100,000.00 low on his bid and he wanted to pull his bid.

Remedy:
We were able to prove the contractor’s bid was accurate and he would have to honor his bid. The contractor ended up completing his work early and within his bid.
